• Think about the types of evidence your discourse community values. Consider: What types of evidence does your community value? What will you use? Examples? Quotes? Hypotheticals? Primary research? Secondary research? • Now think about the sources you plan to use for your research argument. Complete a STAR evaluation of your research/evidence thus far: Is it sufficient? Typical for your genre/community? Would it be considered accurate? Is it relevant for your topic/field? Why or why not? What area needs improvement and what will you do to improve in that area?
